1. TO ENTER: The promotion begins 12:00:01 AM ET on October 1, 2009 and ends 11:59:59 PM ET on September 30, 2010 (“Promotion Period”). The promotion may be run again after the conclusion of this promotion at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. There are eight ways to enter: (1) You will earn one entry for each net dollar spent (on merchandise, cash advances and/or balance transfers only), up to a maximum of $1,000 per transaction (which equals up to 1,000 entries for each separate qualifying transaction), with your American DreamCard™ MasterCard during the Promotion Period. Entries resulting from unauthorized transactions or transactions made with lost, stolen or fraudulently obtained credit cards are automatically void. Declined or incomplete transactions will not qualify. (4) You will earn 1,000 entries by mailing a completed American DreamCard™ credit card application to the address contained in your mailing or by completing an application at an event and providing to an American DreamCard™ representative. No mechanically reproduced entries/applications accepted. Limit one application entry per person irrespective of method of application. (5) You will earn 100 entries by enrolling in AccountCentral®, the online account servicing platform accessible through www.americandreamcard.com. Limit one enrollment entry per person/email address on AccountCentral. (6) You will earn 100 entries each time you pay your American DreamCard™ bill online (sign up for online bill payment access via the AccountCentral web site at www.americandreamcard.com). Limit 3 bill pay entries per person/email address/month. (7) You will earn entries by referring friends who meet the promotion eligibility requirements. You will receive 50 entries into the promotion through each referral submitted, plus an additional 1,000 entries as a signing bonus for each referral that applies and is approved for the American DreamCard™ MasterCard. Visit www.americandreamcard.com and submit the email addresses of your friends that meet the promotion eligibility requirements. Your friend will be sent an email asking him/her to apply for the American DreamCard™ MasterCard. For each friend that subsequently completes and submits an American DreamCard™ MasterCard credit card application and is approved, you will receive 1,000 entries into the promotion. Due to privacy reasons, you will not be notified which, if any, of your referrals submit applications or are approved for an American DreamCard™. You should only submit referrals for those persons with whom you have either personal or professional relationships that you feel would be interested in hearing about the American DreamCard™. Should you have the email forwarded to persons other than as stated, you may be disqualified. Further, submit only one email address for any one person. American DreamCard, LLC will not sell, disclose or share with any third party the email addresses you provided, except to the extent that it may share the email addresses on a strictly confidential basis with any service provider which assists in forwarding such e-mails on behalf of the American DreamCard, LLC. (8) You may have the opportunity to earn bonus entries in selected months during the Promotion Period. Check the American DreamCard™ website at www.americandreamcard.com for updates on selected bonus entry methods and the months in which the bonus entries will be applicable. Your total number of entries earned for each drawing will be carried forward for all subsequent drawings (if any) during the Promotion Period. Drawing periods will begin on the 1st and end on the last day of each month starting October 1, 2009 and going through September 30, 2010.
2. ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY: To enter via mail, hand print your name, complete address, zip code & phone number on a plain 3" X 5" paper and mail your entry in a hand-addressed stamped envelope, to: American DreamCard Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 7250, Melville, NY 11775-7250. Each mailed entry will count as 1,000 entries into the promotion. Entries mailed during bonus entry months, as described above, will be given equal treatment. Entries for each drawing must be postmarked by the last day of each month (beginning October 31, 2009 through September 30, 2010) and received not more than 7 days later, to be eligible for that month’s drawing and all subsequent drawings (if any). Please note that if the last day of any month during the Promotion Period is a Sunday or holiday, you may postmark your entry by the following day. Mechanically reproduced mailed entries are automatically void.
3. GRAND PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE ODDS OF WINNING EACH MONTHLY GRAND PRIZE: Grand Prizes (12 – one per drawing; one drawing per month): One winner will receive .50% of the total amount of net dollars spent on purchases by the participating American DreamCard™ cardholders during the corresponding drawing period. In the instance of multiple authorized users of the selected credit card account, the winner is the primary cardholder. The maximum amount to be awarded for each drawing is $50,000. Odds of winning depend on the cumulative number of eligible entries received from all combined methods of entry by each deadline date.
4. RANDOM DRAWINGS: One Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected for each of the twelve months in random drawings from among all cumulative eligible entries received by each monthly deadline date from all combined methods of entry. Drawings will be conducted on or about the 15th day of each following month (from November 14, 2009 through October 15, 2010), by Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this promotion.
5. GENERAL RULES: All prizes will be awarded and winners notified by express mail. Winners will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity release (where legal) within fourteen (14) days of notification attempt or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. If winner is a cardholder, he/she must have an account, which is open and in good standing in accordance with the terms described in the Cardmember Agreement in order to receive prize. Prizes are not transferable. Participants agree to hold Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates and agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents harmless from all liability or damage, losses or injury to person or property resulting from or incurred in connection with their acceptance, forfeiture or use of any prize or their participation in the promotion. All taxes related to the Prizes are the sole responsibility of the individual winners. No responsibility is assumed for lost, damaged, misplaced, misdirected, unintelligible, illegible or postage due mail or late entries or delays or inaccuracies in processing credit card transactions because of computer error or malfunction. Acceptance of Prize constitutes permission to use winners’ names, photographs, likenesses and geographical data for advertising and promotional purposes in any media throughout the world, without further notice, right of review or approval or compensation except where prohibited by law. Under no circumstances should entrants give their credit card account number, or any information regarding their account, over the phone in connection with this promotion. By entering this promotion, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges.
